Issue

When the external syslog server is unresponsive or slow, the syslog disk queue on StorageGRID nodes fills up. Once the syslog disk queue reaches 100% occupancy, the chunk service's /metrics endpoint fails to log info-level messages, causing Prometheus to report the chunk service as unresponsive (error 499). This results in "Unable to communicate with node" alerts, even though the chunk service itself is operational and client requests are unaffected.
