StorageGRID expansion failed with "key not found"

Issue

  • Grid Expansion page in Grid Manager displays: Configuring networks. Error: Retrying configuration update.

  • The install.log on the expansion node shows:

[2026-08-07T14:47:01.659526]    INFO -- [INSG] Stage: configuring-networking. Message: Retrying configuration update. Failures: 1. After three failures, the message is displayed in the Grid Manager.
[2026-08-07T14:48:46.930617]    INFO -- [INSG] Request failed with error 500 from     https://adm01:9999/mgmt-api-cert-auth/bundle-export: key not found: :QSNL
  • The nms.log in Primary Admin node shows:
