Standalone SQL AG instance not available for backup

Issue

  • During refresh resources the job will fail with the error message: "Not Available for backup. DB is not on NetApp Storage, auto-close is enabled or in recovery"
  • The SCSQL log (<installation_path>\NetApp\SnapCenter\SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server\log\SmSql_<id>.log ) will show:

DEBUG SmSql_13579 PID=[8760] TID=[18] Parse hostname from end point url TCP://192.168.1.51:5022
INFO  SmSql_13579 PID=[8760] TID=[18] Start - GetHostName
INFO  SmSql_13579 PID=[8760] TID=[18] Account details: bypassdomain False
DEBUG SmSql_13579 PID=[8760] TID=[18] Resolving host name =192.168.1.51
ERROR SmSql_13579 PID=[8760] TID=[18] No such host is known
