Issue

  • Error seen in the Job Details:

Exchange DAG Backup fails at step "Up To The Minute Retention" -> The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive

  • SC is unable to apply UTM retention according to the backup policy
  • Database snapshots are removed successfully according to retention settings
  • The backup performance is greatly reduced and there could be a network device dropping the connection due to a lack of activity leading to the error above
