SCE log backups are not deleted per the UTM policy

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Server (SC) 4.3 and above
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft Exchange Server (SCE) 4.3 and above
  • UTM Retention

Issue

  • Log backups are not being deleted as specified in the log retention setting of the relevant policy
  • Log backups are not being removed from the SCEBackupInfo folder
  • They are being removed as per the Full backup retention setting
  • The retention settings can be seen if run the PowerShell command Get-SmPolicy -PolicyName <policy_name>
