SnapCenter reports unnecessary warning in the Alerts view

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server (SCSQL) 4.4
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 4.4
  • VMDK databases

Issue

  • SC 4.4 reports the following warning in the UI Alerts view:
    Storage '<IP_Address>' is not registered
  • Issue seen after an SQL backup with verification
