SnapCenter deleting snapshots despite retention settings

  • SnapCenter Server (SC)
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server (SCSQL)

Issue

  • SC is deleting snapshots and Backup Information before the set retention count is reached in the backup policy
  • No error message seen in any log or GUI relating to retention
