SnapCenter SQL database backup fails due to active Clone Split operation

Issue

  • Backup of a SQL database fails with error calling for an active Clone Split operation.
  • ::> vol clone split show reports no active Clone Split on volume.
  • Error below is seen in SC SMCore and SnapManagerWeb logs.
SMCore.log
ErrorMessage (The following resources XXXX\XXXX are not considered for the current backup since Clone Split operation is running on them)
 
SnapManagerWeb.log
SnapManagerWeb PID=[404] TID=[86] Clone split operation is running on the following object(s) XXXX\XXXXX Backups will not be triggered on them. Retry once clone split operation is complete.
