Issue

  • SnapCenter SQL VMDK disk discovery and backup job fails with error: Unable to find the database files : (PATH). Ensure that the storages are in valid state
  • Backup job error:

Activity 'Discovering Resources' failed with error: Unable to find the database files : (G:\Data\abc.mdf; H:\Log\abc.ldf; G:\Data\abc.mdf; H:\log\abc.LDF). Ensure that the storages are in valid state.
Activity 'Registering invalid databases' failed with error: Unable to find any healthy resource on NetApp storage.

ERROR SMCore_9619 PID=[9864] TID=[47] ErrorCode (-1), ErrorMessage (SQL Database (<servername>\<dbname>) is not on NetApp storage or in an invalid state.)
