Issue

  • SnapCenter Plugin for Exchange backup fails with an error VSS_E_UNEXPECTED_PROVIDER_ERROR
  • Alternatively, may have the error VSS_E_PROVIDER_NOT_REGISTERED
  • Also affects up to the minute (UTM) retention as this is skipped, as seen in the failed Job Details
