SCV backup fails after "Error: entry doesn't exist" during renaming _recent Snapshot

Issue

  • SCV backup fails with error:

Error: Unable to update backup on SnapCenter Server: Failed to rename the snapshot on volume <VOLUME> on storage system <SVM>. Error: entry doesn't exist.

  • Before the backup starts, EMS reports information:

[<NODE_NAME>: snap_helper: wafl.volume.snap.autoDelete:info]: Deleting Snapshot copy 'xxxx_recent' in volume '<VOLUME>@vserver:<SVM_UUID>' to recover storage.
