SCO Discovery on RAC fails with srvctl commands

SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle (SCO) 4.x

Issue

After an upgrade of the Plug-ins to version 4.8 or higher, the Oracle database Discovery stops working for RAC nodes.
 
Errors seen in the SPL log from the Discovery or Backup job logs:
 
DEBUG Execution Monitor Thread [export LC_ALL=C;srvctl config database -d RACTEST] c.n.c.e.ShellResult - EXE-00001: Shellresult [0:00:00.116] (Exit Value: 127):bash: srvctl: command not found
 
or, when the command srvctl is available to the user "oracle":

DEBUG Execution Monitor Thread [export LC_ALL=C;/oracle/BASE/19/bin/srvctl config database -d RACTEST] c.n.c.e.ShellResult -EXE-00001: Shell result [0:00:00.240] (Exit Value: 1):
****ORACLE_HOME environment variable is notset.
    ORACLE_HOME should be setto the main directory that containsOracle products.
    Set and export ORACLE_HOME, then re-run.
