CXPLAT-1623: SCV 6.1 backup fails even if non-NetApp storage is not selected in Spanning disks

Issue

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 6.1 or 6.1P1 backups for VMs with VMDKs on NetApp and non-NetApp storage fail even if non-NetApp storage is not selected in Spanning disks using Manually select the spanning datastores or Always exclude all spanning datastores.
  • vmcontrol_[JOB_ID].log shows errors:

  • Backups for the same resource group succeeded in previous versions of SCV, such as SCV 4.9.
