CSNAPC-7020: In SnapCenter 6.0.1 and 6.1, restore from SnapVault destination by reverse Mirror fails with Object error

Issue

  • When restoring from a mirror (vault) destination, SnapCenter attempts to reverse the relationship, making the source the destination and vice-versa.
  • While checking the SVMs, initially both the vault side and the primary side seems fine, but before even continuing on checking the relationships, or setting anything up,
  • the SnapCenter Server's SMCore Service errors out and in the SMCoreService.log the following error occurs:

 
ErrorCode (-1), ErrorMessage (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)
after the line:
vserver validation result : True
