After upgrading SnapCenter Server and the SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware to version 6.2.1, SQL backup verification jobs behave incorrectly. Backups complete successfully, but the verification phase creates multiple verification jobs for a single resource group instead of a single job. The number of verification jobs corresponds to the number of databases within the resource. These duplicate verification jobs run sequentially and significantly increase the total verification time. In some cases verification jobs remain queued, pending, or running for an extended period, and some jobs appear as Completed or CompletedWithVerificationPending in the SnapCenter UI even though errors are present in the logs. Failed or interrupted verification jobs can also leave behind clones or snapshots on the NetApp storage system.
