Issue

  • Adding a vServer with data LIF in SMI-S fails
  • Error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NetApp\smis\pegasus\bin>smis addsecure <SVM_Data_LIF> vsadmin "password" -t https
Failed to add <SVM_Data_LIF>
 
cimcli CIMException:  Cmd= ci Object= ONTAP_FilerData Code= 1
CIM_ERR_FAILED: Filer return: Can't connect to host (err=10061). - With storage system <SVM_Data_LIF>
  • Telnet to the SVM Data LIF using  port 443/80 also fails from SMI-S server
