Issue

  • A client-ca certificate with Issuer: CN=admin, O=NetApp exists on ONTAP
  • The certificate expiration date differs from the one displayed in Client Certificate of Storage Systems under NetApp ONTAP tools in vSphere Client.
  • EMS event mgmtgwd.certificate.expiring is generated as the certificate approaches expiration:

mgwd: mgmtgwd.certificate.expiring: A digital certificate with Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) admin, Serial Number <SERIAL_NUMBER>, Certificate Authority 'admin' and type client-ca for Vserver <CLUSTER> will expire in the next 29 day(s).
