OTV 9.13 An error occurred while adding a Storage System. Failed with a status code: 409

While trying to add a storage system to a new implementation of OTV 9.13, the process would fail with the following error, "An error occurred while adding Storage System. Query existing ONTAP updateUserAuthenticationMethods failed with status code: 409"
You can obtain an OTV support bundle though vCenter or by manually collecting the logs to verify if you are affected by this specific issue.
Extract the support bundle and verify in the vsc.log
- Match the timestamp when the storage system is added and throws the status code 409 error:
