Issue

  • After updating the derby db password, the vpserver service fails to restart.

  • The command service vpserver status includes messages like the following:

vpserver.service: Unit process #### (jsvc) remains running
vpserver.service: Unit process #### (jsvc) remains running

  • When powering off or rebooting the OTV VM, the VM reports messages like the following: 

systemd-shutdown[1]: Waiting for process: #### (jsvc), #### (jsvc)
