VASA Provider: vVol datastore creation wizard fails to mount

Issue

  • When attempting to provision a new vVol datastore, the task NetApp Mount Datastores fails with the following error:

Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. Unable to complete the command mount vVol datastore on all the hosts. Try to create vVol datatore via vSphere generic datastore creation wizard. If Storage Container is not listed, restart "VMware sps" process on vCenter and retry

  • In the associated vCenter Configure Storage Providers menu, the NetApp-VP Status is Rescan Error

  • In the NetApp-VP Arrays tab, the provider reports No Storage System (#/# online)

  • In the VASA Provider vvolvp.log file, there are errors matching the following: 

    (ERROR)[QueryArraysPool-3-VpThread-1] [] QueryFcInterfacesPool: failed reason:null
