Storage Replication Adapter (SRA): The mount request was denied by the NFS server

Issue

When running a failover or a test failover, the operation fails at the Configure storage stage.

The Recovery Plan History Report gives an error similar to the following:

Error - Failed to recover datastore '<your datastore>'. An error occurred during host configuration.

The host gives an error similar to the following:

The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it.

If you review the SRA log bundle, you see an error in the zapi_error.log file similar to the following:

2021-03-11T19:38:17,626Z [] Sent 16295 (and received error) to x.x.x.x<snapmirror-update-ls-set><source-vserver>source_vserver</source-vserver><source-volume>source_volume</source-volume></snapmirror-update-ls-set>
2021-03-11T19:38:17,626Z [] NaException com.netapp.offtap3.ontap.ApiFailedException: Insufficient privileges: user 'your_user' does not have write access to this resource (errno=13003)

If you try to manually mount the NFS volume, the mount request succeeds.
