SRA discoverArrays fails because the OTV build versions are different

  • VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)

Issue

  • Configuring the local array in SRA throws:

SRA command 'discoverArrays' failed. Authentication failed. Invalid management IP address and/or invalid credentials. Ensure that you provided the correct management IP address with a valid username and password.

  • The credentials being used to configure the local array are the same as the ones used to configure the Disaster Recovery (DR) site array
  • DR site array is being configured fine
  • Local array SRM vmware-dr.log shows:
