Issue

  • Upgrading to or installing OnCommand Insight 7.3.11 fails at the Configuring MySQL... step, with the following error:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

  • Before clicking the OK button, attempts to run MySQL via command line result in the following error:

%SANSCREEN_HOME%mysql\bin\mysqld.exe --verbose
