Why do I only see 30 days worth of snapmirror history in Active IQ Unified Manager?

  • Snapmirror history report generation

Answer

  • Previous versions of UM retained up to ~390 days of snapmirror history
  • This can cause the netapp_model.snap_mirror_history table to grow extremely large causing operational impact in UM
  • Starting with Active IQ Unified Manager 9.7, snapmirror history retention reduced to 30 days
