Applies to

  • NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager  9x
  • OnCommand Unified Manager 7.3
  • Commvault IntelliSnap

Issue

  • Primary volume has been renamed before auxcopy job
  • When a volume is renamed, Commvault, which starts replication using OnCommand Unified Manager, cannot replicate the volume as it complains that the original volume is missing.
  • When we check in OnCommand Unified Manager GUl, the volume has been renamed
  • In Unified Manager subscription service, and we can see that the volume is still present with the old name
