Renaming source volume causes auxcopy failure in CommVault
Applies to
- Active IQ Unified Manager 9x
- OnCommand Unified Manager 7.3
- CommVault IntelliSnap
Issue
- Primary volume has been renamed before auxcopy job
- When a volume is renamed, Commvault, which is starting the replication using OCUM cannot replicate the volume as it complains that the original volume is missing.
- When we check in OCUM GUl, the volume has been renamed
- in UM subscription service, and we see that the volume is still present with the old name
