  • The README in ActiveIQUnifiedManager-9.XX-el8.zip includes the following text:

    
 
To upgrade from a prior version of the software please use the pre-check
command to ensure that all the requirements are met.  The upgrade process
requires several steps, and cannot be performed using yum alone.
 
Note: Upgrade instructions are not applicable for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. You can only install Unified Manager on an RHEL 8 systems, and not upgrade.
