How to modify Contact information associated to system on NetApp Support Site

Description

The article outlines the process for modifying or updating the contact details linked to the system through self-service.

Procedure

  • Users with with Customer Access role can modify contact information directly on the Support site for a particular serial number without the need to initiate a Non-technical case.
  • For Support Admins, a new workflow for System Maintenance has been introduced, enhancing data management capabilities. To utilize this feature, please consult the article on System maintenance via self-service
  1. Login to NSS 
  2. Go to Systems > My Systems
  3. Locate the desired serial number by searching the list or selecting the 'Serial number' option from the dropdown menu. (Note: For step-by-step guidance, use the 'Walk Me Through' feature.)
  4. From the serial number list, choose 'Product Location and Details' under additional options to access the system details page.

  1. In the system details page, scroll to the contact detail section to update or modify the primary contact, parts delivery contact, or the service report contact associated with that serial number
