Revamping the NetApp Knowledge Base site

  • The NetApp Support team is continuously working towards improving your experience on the Knowledge Base site. On April 4, 2023, the new and improved categorization of Knowledge Articles on the site went live.
  • We revamped our site hierarchy and moved towards a more customer-centric design by organizing Categories, Guides, and Knowledge Articles based on customer usage patterns. This will help you navigate the site more intuitively and logically, to quickly find the information you are looking for.
  • Driven by the design principles of delivering ease of navigation and improved self-service experience, the KB site redesign will also include changes to the User Interface (UI) design of the Home Page and Category and Guide Pages. The UI changes is live on May 7, 2023.
  • Here are some key features to look out for:
    • Home page with on-demand categories, wherein the most accessed products and features will be easier to navigate.
    • Customer-centric site hierarchy
    • Individual product guide pages with top features, value added content, and recommended content, including:
      • Resolution guides: high-value content, created by technical experts, based on analysis of content usage patterns.
      • Interactive guides: designed to provide convenient access to Knowledge Articles related to one topic or a common theme.
      • Relevant support videos
    • Organized product filters for streamlined search
    • Quick access to other NetApp information resources
