How to customize the e-mail address that DFM uses for alert messages

Description

  • In an attempt to prevent spam, the organization network is trapping DataFabric® Manager (DFM) alert e-mails that are sent to external addresses.  The messages are not received by the intended recipients.
  • In DFM options if the value for "alertFrom" is not set to a valid email address, the DFMevent.log may contain the following error: [DFMEvent:DEBUG]: [4268:0xea8]: expecting '250', SMTP server replied '501 5.1.7 Bad sender address syntax
