Issue

After enabling Server Message Block (SMB) signing (options cifs.signing.enable on), the old SMB sessions may no longer be accessible.

The following error is logged in messages:

[filer: cifs.trace.smbSignMismatch3:error]: CIFS: Request from client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx for operation 46 (readX) was rejected because the client requested enforcement of security signatures (SMB signing) and the signature provided by the client did not match the value calculated by the filer.
