This applies to NetApp HCI with VDS (Virtual Distributed Switch) architecture.
 
The following messages similar to these are seen:
 
The dvport ## was disconnected in the vSphere Distributed Switch NetApp HCI VDS 01 in DC1
The dvport ## was not in passthrough mode in the vsphereDistributed Switch NetApp HCI VDS 01 in DC1
The dvport ## was unblocked in the vSphere Distributed Switch Netpp HCI VDS 01 in DC1.
The dvport ## link was up in the vSphere Distributed Switch NetApp HCI VDS 01 in DC1.

Answer

These are informational messages about individual VMs logging in and out of the VDS as needed. They are harmless and may be ignored.
