SnapVault backups are not working after rebooting the AltaVault appliance

Issue
- ONTAP cluster and AltaVault were gracefully shut down for the power maintenance activity, however, the SnapVault backups stopped working after the reboot.
- On the homepage of AltaVault GUI, under '
cloud information
', thestatus
shows as 'not connected
'. - The '
SnapMirror Service
' section is not shown at the home page at all. - Running ‘
snapmirror show -fields last-transfer-error
’ at ONTAPCLI
shows an error:Failed to establish connection with remote endpoint "xxx.xxx.xxx.xx".
The endpoint is the AltaVault data interface and the ping from ONTAP to this IP fails as well.
