Why do EBS volume show as offline in the AWS EC2 console after a CVO HA upgrade?

Issue

  • AWS CVO HA-pair upgraded using Cloud Manager.
  • AWS EC2 console shows the EBS volume of the EC2 instances hosting AWS CVO as offline for short time after upgrade complete.
