Applies to

  • Astra Trident for Openshift and Kubernetes
  • ONTAP 9 storage

Description

Wether you accidentically deleted the trident namespace, or ran the uninstaller with the obliviatecrd option while wanting to upgrade, all the information trident kept on the PVCs and the backends it managed is lost, and PVCs that are to be deleted, fail to do so due to the trident finalizer still being present in the PV properties.
