Multiple H410 nodes reporting power supply unit failure and presence not detected or unknown

Issue

  • Multiple nodes in a 2U, four-node H-Series chassis are reporting Power supply unit (PSU) status as Unknown / Not present.
  • Nodes in the chassis are powered ON and functioning.
  • In IPMI / BMC ,
    • Hardware Information page, PSU status shows as  Unknown.
    • Power Source page, Power supply status shows as  Not present.
    • Sensor Reading page, the  Power supply information is either not displayed or its status shows as Not present.
    • Repeated PSU alerts logged on the node's BMC Health Event Log
      • Power Supply Failure Detected - Asserted
      • Power Supply Failure Detected - Deasserted
