Applies to

  • NetApp HCI
  • NetApp H410C

Issue

  • The ESXi host suddenly goes into a hung state
  • There are no obvious HW failures from the IPMI event log and a PSOD(Purple Screen of Death) has not occurred
  • Multiple vob.net.uplink.watchdog.timeout messages are created for vmnic0 and vmnic1

Example:
2020-12-22T04:31:55.072Z: [netCorrelator] 336485006517us: [vob.net.uplink.watchdog.timeout] Watchdog timeout occurred for uplink vmnic1
