Description

This event occurs when an assigned drive or hot spare-in use is removed. This event also occurs in instances when a failed drive is removed in order to facilitate a drive replacement.

This means that not every instance of the event indicates a new issue, and this error message is often expected especially during a drive replacement.

Due to the fact that this is a critical MEL event, it results in the generation of a new ASUP and often an automatically generated Technical Case.
