Issue

  • Node reboots due to Environmental Shutdown
  • Alerts regarding the chassis power being degraded
  • Multiple misread sensors resulting in components reporting as failed

System Notification (CHASSIS POWER DEGRADED: Power Supply Status Critical: PSU1, PSU3.) ERROR
System Notification (CHASSIS FAN FRU FAILED: FanA1 F1) ERROR

[Node-1: env_mgr: nvram.battery.sensor.unreadable:EMERGENCY]: The NVRAM battery state cannot be determined because the 'Bat Curr' sensor is unreadable. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 5 minutes.
[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.degraded:alert]: Chassis fan is degraded: FanA1 Voltage is unreadable
[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.degraded:alert]: Chassis fan is degraded: FanA1 Current is unreadable

[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:error]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: FanA1 F1 at failed
[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:error]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: FanA1 F2 at failed
[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:error]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: FanA1 F3 at failed
[Node-1: env_mgr: monitor.chassisFan.stop:error]: Chassis fan contains at least one stopped fan: FanA1 F4 at failed

[Node-1: statd: monitor.shutdown.emergency:EMERGENCY]: Emergency shutdown: Environmental Reason Shutdown (Multiple fans failed)
[Node-1: splog_main: mgr.boot.reason_abnormal:EMERGENCY]: System rebooted after a panic.
