Issue

  • While using a new storage array errors are observed with vMotion during DRS
  • VMware configuration shows DiskMaxIOSize greater than 1024KB

esxcli system settings advanced list -o "/Disk/DiskMaxIOSize"

Example:
error "vmdk locked" "firmware host failed"
