Cluster switch log collection stuck in initiated state due to FIPS mode

Issue

  • Cluster switch log collection enabled but, when requested, it gets stuck in "initiated" status:

::> system cluster-switch log show
 Log Collection Enabled: true
 Index Switch                               Log Timestamp        Status
------ ------------------------------------ -------------------  -------------
     1 switch_name-1(ABC1234D567)
                                            -                    initiaded
     2 switch_name-2(ABC1234D568)
                                            -                    initiated
2 entries were displayed.

  • FIPS mode is enabled in the cluster
  • Error disabling the cluster-switch log collection:

::> system cluster-switch log disable-collection
Do you want to disable cluster switch log collection for all nodes in the cluster? {y|n}: y
Error: Switch log-collect request already initiated.
Please wait for the current request finished.
Error: command failed: invalid operation
