Description

  • The TruFOS license is linked to the support contract.

  • The TruFOS certificate when generated will run through to the end of the active support contract.

  • license --show  output confirms if an TruFOS certificate is expired.

  • These licenses are generated from the Broadcom portal for the respective serial number.

  • Brocade TruFOS Certificates are required on the following platforms, starting with Fabric OS v9.1.0:

    • Brocade Gen 6 Directors

    • Brocade Gen 7 Directors

    • Brocade Gen 6 G630 (switch types 173 and 184)

    • Brocade Gen 7 G730 Switches

  • Brocade TruFOS Certificates are required on the following platforms, starting with Fabric OS v9.2.0:
    • G720
    • 7850
    • G620
    • G610
