Issue

  • Data Network port linkDown/Up occurs repeatedly. Example:

Thu Feb 27 01:25:59 JST [node1: ixgbe/e2b: snmp.link.down:info]: Interface 10 is down.
Thu Feb 27 01:25:59 JST [node1: ixgbe/e2b: netif.linkDown:info]: Ethernet e2b: Link down, check cable.
Thu Feb 27 01:26:02 JST [node1: vifmgr: vifmgr.portdown:notice]: A link down event was received on node node1, port e2b.
Thu Feb 27 01:26:02 JST [node1: vifmgr: vifmgr.portup:notice]: A link up event was received on node node1, port a1b.
Thu Feb 27 01:26:31 JST [node1: ltm_services: snmp.link.up:info]: Interface 10 is up
Thu Feb 27 01:26:31 JST [node1: ltm_services: netif.linkUp:info]: Ethernet e2b: Link up.

  • The issue remains after a transceiver and cable re-seat or replace, in both sides of the connection.
  • No issues or errors noticed in the front end data switch side
