Answer

  • Yes, If there is a free slot, the spare disk can moved and recognized no any commands, so move it.
  • Since the data disk cannot be moved as is, use the storage disk replace command to replace it with a spare disk.
  • Monitor until data copy is completed using the sysconfig -r command
  • Once the copy is complete, move the spare disk from the data to the slot you want to move it to.
