Free space not returned to aggregate as expected

Issue

  • Free Space does not show on the aggregate after deleting a snapshot and is stuck in Delayed Frees.
  • High Delayed Frees count looking at volume footprint within aggregate, the value increases over time and never decreases. 

Note: This article only applies if Delayed Frees is 3% or higher.
