Will SnapMirror Policy MirrorLatest delete old transferred SnapMirror Snapshots?

Answer

  • Only Snapshots related to the new policy will be deleted by the retention of the "MirrorLatest" policy
  • Only SnapMirror created policy will rotate out by the retention
  • If the leftover Snapshots are not desired, they can be deleted manually
