Applies to

  • SnapMirror
  • SnapVault
  • ONTAP 9

Issue

  • A SnapMirror or SnapVault update or initialize operation fails for a single relationship.
  • Other relationships between the same source and destination nodes continue to work fine.
  • Impacted relationships make some progress but do not continue past a certain amount of data replicated.
  • The SnapMirror failure message is one of a few generic Cluster Session Manager (CSM) network failures as seen in /etc/log/snapmirror_audit logs or in the command output Snapmirror show -fields last-transfer-error.
