Answer

Is ACP supported in MetroCluster Configurations?

ACP support is independent of the use of ATTO FibreBridge usage or direct SAS attached configurations

Out-of-Band ACP
  • Not supported in any MetroCluster configuration
In-Band ACP
  • Is supported if
    • IOM12 modules (DS460C) with ONTAP 9.2 and later are used

    • IOM12 modules with ONTAP 9.1 and later are used
  • Interoperability:
    • If there is a combination of IOM12 and IOM6, In-band ACP should be disabled.
    • In-band ACP is not supported with IOM6 modules and should be disabled.
