Cannot provision aggregate in ONTAP System Manager with newly deployed cluster

Issue

  • Unable to provision an aggregate from either Node 1 or Node 2 using ONTAP System Manager.
  • Prepare Storage fails by error:

Job failed to complete. Reason: No recommended aggregates could be created. Failed to provision aggregate on nodes: <NODE>.

  • Manual provisioning works via the ONTAP CLI.
