Cannot see Ethernet ports in Group view in System Manager

  • ONTAP System Manager 9.13.1, 9.13.1P1, 9.13.1P2

Issue

  • When browsing on Network > Ethernet Ports page, under Group view, Ethernet ports are not visible
  • The following error appears:

The system could not connect to the server because of network issues. Wait for some time and then refresh the browser.

  • The condition is that the login to System Manager is done via the host name and not the IP address
