Answer

When the volume size is changed, the autosize volume maximum size is also changed even though autosize mode is off.

Example:

aff200-2n-dal-1::> volume show -fields max-autosize,autosize-mode

vserver            volume max-autosize autosize-mode

------------------ ------ ------------ -------------

svm1               vol2   24GB         off

aff200-2n-dal-1::> volume size -volume vol2 -new-size 30g

vol size: Volume "svm1:vol2" size set to 30g.

aff200-2n-dal-1::> volume show -fields max-autosize,autosize-mode

vserver            volume max-autosize autosize-mode

------------------ ------ ------------ -------------

svm1               vol2   36GB         off
